    BIOGRAPHY

    Hanna Hur (b.1985, Toronto) lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. Hur received an MFA from University of California, Los Angeles in 2019. Recent solo exhibitions include Keijiban, Kanazawa, Japan (2024); Doosan Art Center, Seoul (2024); Dracula’s Revenge, New York (2024); Kristina Kite, Los Angeles (2023, 2021); Feuilleton, Los Angeles (2020); and Bel Ami, Los Angeles (2019). Institutional group exhibitions include Rest and Reprieve: Head For The Hills!, Hammer Museum, Los Angeles (2025); A Window Into Creative Solitude, A Benefit for Eighth House Residency, CANADA, New York (2025); Cool Invitations 11, curated by Misako & Rosen, XYZ collective, Tokyo (2025); 1TB Verbatim: Los Angeles Timing 2013-2025, Leroy’s, Los Angeles (2025); Itinéraires Fantômes, Capc Musée d’art contemporain de Bordeaux, Bordeaux (2024); Shadow Tracer, Aspen Art Museum (2022); Drawing Down the Moon, Hammer Museum, Los Angeles (2022); and The Inconstant World, Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (2021).
