Peng Zuqiang (b. 1992, Changsha) currently lives and works in Paris and Amsterdam. He graduated from the Goldsmiths, University of London in 2014, and from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2017. He makes film, video and installations, with an attention to the affective meaning within histories, bodies, and language.
Peng has completed residencies and fellowship from Luma Arles (Paris, 2025); Art Explora (2024); Rijksakademie, Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Fall 2022 – ongoing); IAS CEU, Budapest, Hungary (2022); Organhaus, Chongqing, China (2021), Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture, Maine, US (2019); The Core Program, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston , US (2017-2019). He was awarded the Dialog Award at EMAF (2024, 2023), and the Present Future prize at Artissima (2022).
